34 WEEKS!!! Woo hoo
The baby is between 15 ½ to 17 ½ inches long and weighs around 5 ½ pounds varying from person to person. The baby’s body begins to fill up with layers of fat which will help the baby in regulating body temperature and adjusting with the atmosphere outside the mother’s womb. Most of the baby’s organs are mature except for the lungs as they keep practicing breathing and taking in the amniotic liquid while breathing leading to bouts of hiccups from time to time. The hair on the head is growing fast and the baby is learning to blink its eyes. The baby shows strong reactions to familiar voices at this stage.
So i may have said this a couple of times... because my belly looked so low But i have no doubt that little miss has dropped! I have so much pressure on my pelvis etc. I can really feel it now...This is a good sign people!!! I go to the Doctors on Thursday, and get to see the "normal " doctor so I'm excited to see what he says. Scott and i are just about done with the room, just some finishing touches :)
Part of being pregnant means strangers want to talk to you... they say oh how far along are you?, what are you having?, is this your first etc...(it kinda bugs me because I'm not very social now a days, but what could ya do)
So this lady the other day in the food store asked me if it was my first and i said yes... and she said oh you must be so nervous...... I'm not nervous at all!! I feel like i should be but I'm not... i am just soo soo soo excited!
Scott and I are headed to the lake this weekend... (prob the last weekend for me until the baby comes along) Its getting to be too much to walk up and down that hill (those of you who have seen it know what I'm talking about he he) And i cant drink or go on the boat so i think i would rather stay home and nest for now :)
Rob and Natasha rented a house at the lake for a whole week with Natasha's Sisters Family who just had a baby boy like a month ago... so I'm sure well see them this weekend! Cant wait to see the little baby!
Have a fun weekend
