22 Weeks

Yesterday I went for my 22 week check-up and it went great...they did just the basic, weight, blood pressure and babies heartbeat. I love going for my check ups! This doctor was really cool and let me listen to his heartbeat for a long time! It was so strong and beautiful.

I feel really great...Mood swings are over or maybe just on the back burner, no sickness etc. A couple of weird things are that my hips HURT! I remember this happening towards the end last time... I asked the doc and she said it was just my pelvis spreading....that just sounds like it hurts doesn't it!?  Also I CANT SLEEP... I never ever thought I would say those words. I don't know its because my hips hurt and I cant get comfy or if its just a weird symptom? I sleep for like 20-30 min and wake up wide awake for about an hour or so, and it repeats. I hope this doesn't last...only 17 more weeks of decent sleep for me. Also this guy MOVES SO MUCH AND I LOVE IT!

We also talked more about a birth plan yesterday. This practice is all about VBAC. So the plan is they are going to start checking me to see if I am dilated or if my cervix is ripened at all around 36 weeks and after...if it is they said they will break my water around 39 weeks if I don't go into labor on my own, but will not use any medication to get my labor going.... If I am not progressing on my own they will keep me scheduled for a C-Section which will be at week 39 as well....so there is a good chance this little guy will be born around or on June 20th. I have to schedule it (c-section) in the books at the docs office on my 30 week apt.

Next apt is my glucose test...hopefully I pass
