Thomas at 4 weeks

I have plastered this photo all over the Internet...because I am obsessed with it and cant get over how much Kylie and Thomas look alike at 4 weeks old. Thomas defiantly is a little bigger...but that face...and even the hair look identical to me! I guess we know what Thomas will look like in a couple of years :)

 Thomas is 4 weeks old today... and weighing in at 9lbs on the dot...(this morning) that baby scale is one of the best purchases I have made..it has made breast feeding so much more relaxing.  I had to stop myself from weighing him everyday  and now I just do it once or twice a week, just to make sure he is gaining.

Things are settling down now...and were kinda in a routine...Thomas eats anywhere from every 1 hour to 3 hours during the day (mostly in the middle at every 2 hours) which makes it kind of hard to leave the house. Scott and I thought we hit the jackpot last week....Thomas had his last feeding at 10:00pm and didn't wake up until 4:00 am a few days in a row. But that didn't last...last night he was up every two hours. I guess we cant complain, we had a few nights with a 6 hour stretch.

Thomas' little personality is coming out. He is very into being held and is starting to recognize faces, he gets really excited when anyone comes near..and just stares and SMILES!  Yes smiles, and I don't think its gas he has been doing it since last week!

I was able to get this shot. I just caught the tail end of his smiling session...he seems to be the happiest after his 6:30 feeding! Which makes it hard for me to want to go back to sleep cause I just want to "play" with him :) I hope these early smiles, means that he is a HAPPY baby!
